Credit card charges

If you have ever been charged by your credit card company for going over your credit limit or making a payment late, whether this is through your own fault or not, you will have found that your credit card company has charged you around £30 for this mistake. Why should your Credit Card Company charge you such a high price for something that may have not even been your fault?

If you have been charged by your credit card company over the last 6 years you can and should get ALL this money back - and this is the really nice bit, with interest. We have found that our clients have been vastly overcharged over the last 6 years by their credit card company, but don't take out word for it, the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) agrees, and in April 2006 published its findings into the charges applied by credit card companies and found they were "too high". Credit Card Companies were then forced to lower them to the maximum of £12. However many credit card companies and particularly store card companies ignored this and continued charging over the limit. Most credit card companies have now dealt with their charges and have reduced them, although most will still argue that they don't agree with the OFT's decision.

Even if you have only been charged the maximum £12 for simply being unlucky and having your payment delayed by a postal strike or just couldn't resist that bargain and went over your credit limit then you could still reclaim those charges. We have recovered thousands of charges for our clients and will continue to do so until the credit card companies start making fair charges for a fair service.

It's your money and you are entitled to get it back. So don't delay, make that claim today. Take our simple "Claims Test" now and see if you can make a "No-Win, No-Fee" credit card claim today.

Despite what some of the credit card companies are saying the up and coming court case involving "Bank Charges Claims" does not affect claims for your credit card charges and you can still get your money back.

We can still make claims against your bank for a refund of your bank charges, please complete the Credit Card Charges Test and indicate on the relevant forms that your claim is against Bank Charges. Although your claim for the return of your bank charges won't be concluded until the court case has finished we can get the ball rolling on your behalf and ensure your claim is top of the pile.

Have you been charged excessive penalties for going overdrawn? Making a payment late? Or missing a payment? Have you had your direct debits, standing orders or cheques bounced because your account had insufficient funds?

Please note that we will need to request copies of your credit card statements and many of the credit card companies will charge a £10 fee for this request. Would you therefore please enclose a cheque made payable to EACH CREDIT CARD COMPANY you wish us to deal with, with these forms. This payment should NOT be made to Claim 2 Gain and is NOT a charge made by Claim 2 Gain.
